Our Tour in brief / 05 - 08 Aug 2013
Day 1
Departure from Athens at 07.30 to follow National Road Athens - Korinth - Patras, coffee stop on our way.
We will enjoy to pass through Bridge Rio - Antirrio and then we will arrive at Menidi, where we will stay for swimming and lunch as many taverns are available there.
During our evening we will visit Arta's lagoons till the point of Koronisia in the middle of Amvrakikos gulf. We will stay to walk around the village, coffee stop and photos.
We arrive at Hotel Arta Palace, free time and will enjoy our dinner at Hotel's restaurant or local tavern with greek tastes.
Day 2
After enjoying our buffet breakfast, we depart to explore Tzoumerka area. First we will meet the historic place of Peta (Battle of Peta in 1822) and then we will visit the village Katarraktis. Free time for walking, photos and visit the natural waterfalls where water falls down from 125m height.
We continue to visit the stone bridge of Plaka (1866) and the small cave of Anemotripa close to Pramanta village. After visiting Agnanta and Pramanta small villages we return to Arta in order to have free time at our rooms.
Dinner at Hotel's restaurant or local tavern.
Day 3
After enjoying our buffet breakfast we depart for sierra of Pindos mt. We will visit the Kipina Monastery located at a unique place at a rocky slope of the mountain. We continue higher on the mountains to reach two traditional villages of Epirus area. Kalarrites (1.120m height) and Sirako (1.150m height) will give us a nice scenery with stoned traditional buildings. We will enjoy our lunch in one of these two villages as we will visit both villages. We return back to our Hotel.
Dinner at our Hotel's restaurant or local tavern.
Day 4
Our morning will start after our buffet breakfast in order to visit the historic center of Arta. A city with many byzantine monuments and great historic during its presence in greek historic ages. We will walk from the castle till church of Saint Theodora (patron saint of Arta), we will visit church of Parigoritissa famous for its architectural achievement and then we will pass from the Bridge of Arta. We depart fro the mountainous village of Boulgareli and Athamani so that to reach Elati village in Thessaly area and then to return to Athens, enjoying our nevessary stops for coffee and lunch.
